Rental terms for cars and motorcycles operated by Religion Co., Ltd. (Religion Rent), Phuket, Thailand.

5.1 Driver Requirements

Cars:
• Minimum age: 21 years (25 years for luxury and premium cars). Maximum age: 70 years.
• Valid driver's license held for at least 1 year.
• Foreign drivers must present original national license + International Driving Permit (IDP).
• IDP is valid in Thailand for the first 60 days of stay only (DLT regulation).
• Security deposit must be blocked on a credit card in the primary driver's name. Debit cards and cash are not accepted for deposit.
Motorcycles:
• Minimum age: 24 years for powerful motorcycles.
• Motorcycle license (category A or international equivalent) is mandatory.
• Security deposit: from 10,000 THB cash or 500 USD/EUR blocked on credit card.

• CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) is included in the rental price. Covers body damage only.
• CDW does NOT cover: glass, tyres, suspension, roof, interior.
• Full coverage option (Super CDW) is available at additional cost — ask for daily rate.
• Por Ror Bor (compulsory state insurance) covers minor third-party bodily injury only.
• Security deposit is pre-authorised on credit card at pickup. Released after vehicle inspection on return.

Cars:
• Late return: 59-minute grace period. After that — full extra day charged at walk-in rate.
• Smoking in vehicle or pets without prior agreement: up to 10,000 THB cleaning fee.
• Driving through flooded roads causing engine hydrolock: 10,000–30,000 THB (not covered by any insurance).
• Lost or damaged electronic key: 30,000 THB.
• Returning dirty vehicle: 150 THB.
Motorcycles:
• Daily mileage limit: 250 km. Excess: 5 THB/km.
• Lost or damaged helmet: 300 THB.
• Overdue return exceeding 2 days without extension and payment will be reported to police as theft.
• Total loss or theft without full insurance: full market value of motorcycle + 50,000 THB penalty.

Pay on Arrival bookings:
• Cancelled more than 48 hours before rental start: no charge.
• Cancelled less than 48 hours: no charge.
• No-show: booking held for 12 hours, then cancelled automatically.
Prepaid bookings:
• Cancelled more than 48 hours before rental start: full refund minus bank transfer fee (400 THB + 7% VAT). Stripe processing fee is non-refundable.
• Cancelled less than 48 hours: no refund.
• No-show: no refund.
• Early return: no refund for unused days.

• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Sub-renting or lending the vehicle to a third party.
• Off-road or race track use.
• Driving through flooded roads.
• For motorcycles: travelling to islands (e.g. Koh Yao) without written consent from Religion Co., Ltd.
• For motorcycles: exceeding 250 km/day without prior agreement.
